ARTHUR BAYRAMGALIN’S SMOOTH SOUND!

By likemindblog

ARTHUR

Hailing from Ufa, Russia, multi-instrumentalist Artur Bayramgalin is ready for a start off. At the age of 22, Artur made a name for himself on the Russian music scene performing with many of top artists .

He has just recorded his debut album Interro Island in the Breezz Studio, Ufa and fosters his music in all jazz-networks and communities. He comments his new album: “This is my first solo project, which includes original tunes composed and arranged by me. I hope you will enjoy my work!”

Artur, thank you for participating in this project.  As promised, I am republishing your article as this site is now getting hundreds of visitors each day.  And here are my questions:

1)  What is music to and for you?

However trite it may sound but I must say that music is not only my work but also life.I love being a musician, working in my studio, listening to and talk about music.

I think that there is nothing better than creating personal art.

2)  What inspires you?

I can enumerate that indefinitely…I believe that my family is my biggest inspiration. Being a professional musician, my father often took me to his band rehearsals and gigs.

At that time (well, my teenage years) I already felt that I really enjoyed the type of atmosphere that was present there. Also being married for moreARTUR-IN-CANADA than 15 years my wife and I still retain our love and that inspires me , too!

Music inspires me a lot, too. listening to such a great musicians as Grieg, Tchaikovsky , M. Davis, Lee Ritenour  to name a few,  I feel a variety of emotions from sadness to complete happiness!

3)  When you are creating, playing (not performing) where does it take you, I mean where does your mind travel?

I noticed that before I write a song, I remember positive situations and as well as  emotions experienced in the past, for example, romantic evening, etc. and in the process of song writing, I relive those moments again.

4)  Do you think music, visual art and health are related and if so, how?

Of course music and visual art are related, I would even say are inseparable, they are united by one word – art!

Sometimes, looking at some paintings , I hear beautiful music, and vice versa listening to music artists are often inspired to create a masterpiece.  In the process of composing songs, I relive those moments as well.

No. 5)  How do you feel when you are playing?

It is a special feeling!  Playing the guitar I love to improvise.  I believe that olittle_1273761929nly by improvising musician can create something personal. You never know what you going to play, it is a wonderful adventure consisting of musical phrases, which takes us into the world of our imaginations.

No. 6)  When do you do your best work ?

The most interesting place that I’ve performed at was an English as the Second Language School in Toronto, Canada.

I gave a solo performance consisting of many jazz standards for immigrants from various countries including Argentina, Korea, China, Iran, and Israel to name few. The people accepted the performance in a very warm and enthusiastic way. At that moment I felt that music is a universal force that can unite people from all over the world.

“It’s the personal note, the combination of local music with the smooth jazz style, which makes Artur Bayramgalin’s debut album Interro Island unique and unforgettable. A real enrichment for the music world.  Artur!”

Text in introduction and immediately above is from Hans-Bernd Hülsmann from Smooth Jazz Daily.

Thank you so much Arthur for sharing with us.  You are a wonderful musician and I wish you the greatest of success in all your endeavours!  Be blessed!ARTURS-COVER-ALBUM-CD

About

My name is Michele Andree. I am an artist, I paint musicians in action. I think I’m a musician at heart, my instrument being… a brush, so I play…brush and I paint… music.
I love jazz. I call it freedom music. It promotes special values. I love intelligent people and good conversations.

Some people ask me how music relates to art. Personally I find they go hand in hand. Music is what turns me on to painting. It makes me see colours
