COCO MOBULI REVEALING A DEEPER TRUTH!(1)
COCO MOBULI was born in Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo, on the 24th of December 1974. He enjoys painting every day life in Africa, especially images of women, folklore, and as you will notice, the spiritual aspects coupled with a strong cultural faith in the hereafter ever present in his work . He is very much interested in the transcendental links between visual art and the natural environment. He is an incredible artist. This article was done with via his representative in France, a translator and Coco. I was so impressed with the strength and dignity coming through his work that I felt compelled to introduce this wonderful artist to all of you. This is part one of his article.

No. 1) What is art to and for you? (Generally and personally)
Typically, art is a skill as opposed to human nature. “It’s a human expression, an outward manifestation of the soul after an analysis of conscious and deliberate man. For me, art is one of the great pillars of human civilization. With art, man reinstalls a world “his world” and reveals the earth.
No. 2) What inspires you?
I am inspired by “world-earth” fight, a continuous and permanent struggle. I understand art as an opening of the hidden truth in that which is deeper and more radical. Not only that the truth of art opens and enlightens the world by preserving as a new way to arrange the world. More importantly, it opens and illuminates it without destroying the other constitutive aspect of any opening that is metaphysics. Bearing in mind darkness and concealment as it is these dimensions that inspire me in the apprehension of this fight (World – Earth).
No. 3) When you are creating, painting, where does it take you? I mean where does your mind travel?
My mind trips to the art world come from the essence of the thing, space and time.
• The essence that allows me to form pictorial words.
• The place gives me the pictorial space.
• The time making it possible to create a distinction of things exactly alike.
No. 4) Do you feel music, painting and health are related and if so, what makes you say that?
Music, painting and health are a relaxation for me in my life before, after and during my earthly race is a conglomerate of activities that take place smoothly, enjoying the positive unit in the separation of these things in life .
No. 5) How do you feel when you are painting?
When I paint, I see the work in question as the advent of truth. The creation of my works introduces explicitly the created being, and this created being appears in the opening to the glory of metaphysics. My works are always in need of backup which allows these paintings to be works of art.
No. 6) Do you identify with your subject and if so, on what level?
About me and my “inner self” are one and achievement that makes my “inner self” as I and my student identification at the object of the subject through the theme, the painting technique, style of painting, the time of the work
Q.1 Comment coco MOBULI artiste peintre conçoit-il la notion de l’art ? Comment l’appréhende-t-il ?
Réponse : Généralement, l’art est une habilité humaine par opposition à celle de la nature. « C’est une expression humaine, une manifestation extérieure de l’âme après une analyse consciente et réfléchie de l’homme. Pour moi, l’art est l’un des grands piliers sur lesquels repose la civilisation humaine. Avec l’art, l’homme réinstalle un monde « son monde » et révèle la terre.
Q2 Quelle est la source d’inspiration de l’artiste peintre Coco MOBULI ?
Réponse : je m’inspire au combat « Monde-terre », un combat continu et permanent. Je conçois dans l’art, une ouverture de la vérité caché dans ce quelle a de plus profond et de plus radical. Non seulement que la vérité de l’art ouvre et éclaire le monde en se préservant comme une façon nouvelle d’agencer le monde. Mais plus encore, elle l’ouvre et l’illumine de ses phares, sans pourtant anéantir cet autre aspect constitutif de toute ouverture qu’est la métaphysique. Sans oublié l’obscurité et dissimilation car ce sont toutes ces dimensions qui m’inspire dans l’appréhension de ce combat (Monde – Terre).
Q3 Comment vous sentez vous alors quand vous peignez ?
Réponse : Quand je peints, je vois l’œuvre en cause comme l’advenir de la vérité. La création de mes œuvres introduit expressément l’être crée ; et l’être crée apparait dans l’ouverture à la gloire de la métaphysique. Mes œuvres ont toujours besoin de la sauvegarde ce qui permet à ces œuvres picturales d’être des œuvres d’art.
Q4 Vous identifiez-vous artiste peintre avec votre sujet et si oui, à quel niveau ?
Réponse : Mon sujet et mon « moi intérieur » ne font qu’une réalisation qui fait de mon « moi intérieur » tel que je suis et l’élève à mon identification au niveau de l’objet du sujet à travers la thématique, la technique picturale, le style de peintre, l’époque de l’œuvre.
Q5 Comment comprendre que l’on vous trouve malgré quelques ennuis de santé, en train de peindre sous l’ambiance d’une douce musique ?
Réponse : Musique, peinture et santé sont pour moi un délassement de ma vie avant, après et pendant ma course terrestre c’est un combinat d’activités qui s’accomplissent harmonieusement, jouissant de l’unité positive dans la séparation de ces choses de la vie.
Q6 A travers la collection de vos œuvres picturales d’artiste peintre se dessine un esprit voyageur, de quoi cela tient –il ?
Mon esprit de voyages dans le monde artistique vient de l’eccéité de la chose, de l’espace et du temps.
- L’eccéité qui me permet de former les mots picturaux.
- Le lieu qui m’offre l’espace picturale
- Le temps moment qui rend distinctes même des choses absolument semblables.
