ALICIA MB BALLARD, welcome back. We’ve had so many positive comments on the first part of your article via Facebook, blogs, etc. I can well imagine the same thing will happen with part 2. You are an amazing person with a lot of energy, and a big heart. It has been a great pleasure doing this article with you. So without further delay, let us continue!
No.6 ) When do you do your best work?
While I am not a “morning” person per se, I am at my “creative peak” in the morning – often my sleep/dream is “lucid” and I wake up already “working” with the transition time being practically non-existent. It often makes for exhausting times…
Also, when “emotionally” provoked – one way or, the other – moved or irritated.
As I experience emotions rather acutely, I tend to “have a lot to express”, having an unending source of “material” as the world goes round and round…
No.6 ) Cuando haces tu mejor trabajo?
A pesar de no ser mañanera (en general) encuentro mi “pico creativo” por las mañanas; es muy común que mi dormir/sueño sea “lúcido” y me despierte ya “trabajando”, siendo la transición practicamente no existente, lo que amenudo acarrea la exhaustión.
También cuando se me provoca emocionalmente y me siento conmovida o irritada. Siendo que yo tiendo a “sentir agudo”, me deja con mucho que expresar, teniendo una interminable fuente de “material” que se continua acumunlando asi, con el giro del mundo…
No.6) Quando fai meglio il tuo lavoro?
Non sono portata ad alzarmi presto ( in genere), però trovo il masimo della mia cretività nel mattino; e molto comune che il mio dormire sia tante volte, sveglia, e mi alzo già lavorando, provocando in me un accumulo di stanchezza.
Anche quando mi sento commosa, irritabile, ho una fonte infinita di materiale per esprimermi, raccolgo ed accumulo in coincidenza col giro del mondo.
No.7 ) Do you identify with your subject and if so, on what level?
I identify often and deeply with all my subjects/topics at the energy level… which, propel me to execute; often, I must also write about them extensively. When I am truly attuned or deeply affected, not only I feel the color energy of something/someone, I have also found myself describing the accompanying sound when explaining a work in progress …
No.7 ) Te identificas con tu sujeto/tema? Si lo haces, a que nivel?
Me identifico amenudo profundamente con mis temas/sujetos a nivel energético, lo cual me propulsa a ejecutar al mismo tiempo que escribir, a veces extensivamente sobre el mismo. Cuando estoy verdaderamente (casi, casi siempre!) “sintonizada” y profundamente afectada, no solo siento 
el color energético de algo o alguién, sino que me he sorprendido a mi misma al oirme describir los sonidos de las mismas.
No.7 ) Riesci ad identifficarti con il tuo soggetto con il tema? Se lo fai, a quale livello?
Speso m’identifico nel profondo con il i miei temi/ i miei soggetti a livello energetico, mi danno la spinta a produrre e scrivere la stessura su di loro. Quando sono così (quasi sempre), in sintonia, profondamente coinvolta, inotre a percepire il colore energetico di qualcosa oppure qualcuno, sono riuscita anche ad ascoltare il suono che emmetono gli stessi.
No.8 ) Does painting help you connect with your higher self, whatever that may be for you?
Yes, “Whatever that may be”… as work usually is a “miracle in the making” for lack of a better term, while I plan a work sometimes to completion, soon after its birthing it does “acquire a life, an energy of its own” and I must follow it, instead of forcing my will upon it. (I learned it leads to disaster.) I believe that is one of the reasons I don’t like repetitive work. Can’t imagine painting teh same thing day after day, year after year!
No. 8 ) El pintar te conecta con tu “ser elevado” (lo que eso sea/signifique para ti)?
Si, “lo que eso sea/signifique…”. La obra, es generalmente “un milagro en marcha” por falta de otra terminología, dado a que hasta cuando la planeo hasta el último detalle, al ocurrir su nacimiento, adquiere una vida propia, una energía única de ella, la cual debo seguir, en vez de moldear a mi capricho, porque aprendí que eso solo lleva al desastre.
Es una de las razones por las cuales mi trabajo no es repetitivo; tampoco me puedo imaginar pintar lo mismo día traz día, año traz año!
No.8) Il dipingere ti collega con un essere superiore (cosa significa per te questo)?
Si, quello che sia, significhe….L’opera in genere è un miracolo in movimento, dalla sua nascita, painificando fino ll’ultimo dettaglio, prende
vita, una energia propria tutta sua, che proseguo invece di modellare al mio piacere, perché ho imparato che quello solatanto ti porta al disatro.
Ragione per il quale il mio lavoro, non è ripetitivo, non posso immaginare dipingere ogni giorno, ogni anno lo stesso.
No 9 ) Some say the school system tends to stifle creativity? What is your opinion on this?
I was not a happy student, generally speaking, unless, in the class of the odd teacher or professor whom allowed my personality to come into the equation.
However, I must admit, I am grateful I was expected to learn to write within the lines, color inside box, and follow rules of strict discipline … Along the way, with many other things, I acquired the ability to discern, something very important and necessary in life.
Things are different today, I understand…
I observe that creativity, as lots of other things, is strongly focused upon (overrated) at the wrong times, in the wrong places…
Creativity, while spontaneous, must have some point of reference. The wider that point, themore delicious the results!
No. 9) Algunos dicen que el sistema educativo trunca la creatividad. Cuál es tu opinion al respeto?
Mucho no me gustó, salvo que alguna que otra maestra o profesor permitiera que mi personalidad formara parte de la ecuación.
Sin embrago debo admitir de estar agradecida que se esperó de mi que escribiera siguiendo la dirección de las rayitas y de que coloreara dentro del margen, al mismo tiempo que seguir otras reglas de estricta diciplina… (Ay!)
A lo largo, con muchas otras cosas, adquirí la habilidad de dicernir – algo muy importante y necesario en la vida.
Comprendo, las cosas son distintas hoy día.
Veo, que como muchas otras cosas, la creatividad está exgeradamente enfocada, a su vez fuera y en mal lugar.
La creatividad, a pesar de ser una expresión expontánea, debe tener algún punto de referencia. Cuando más amplio ese punto, más deliciosos los resultados!
No. 9) Qualcuno dice che il sistema di formazione nella educazione, ferma la cretività? Quale è la tua opinione?
Non mi è piacuta, a volte qualcuna insegnante a lasciato che la mia personalità fosse parte della sua equazione.
Senz’altro devo ammettere e ringraziare a chi e rimasto in attesa a vedermi scrivere seguendo il senso delle righe, e colorare dentro dei margini, allo stesso di seguire altre regole disciplinare. (Ah!) Nel percorso sono riusicta a capire ed aquisire altre cose molto importante e neccessarie per la vita, come il discernimento…
Imparando e capendo che le cose sono diverse oggi giorno.
Vedo, comunque che tante altre cose nella creativita sono fuori posto ed essageratamente sfocate. La creatività, essendo una forma d’espresione spontanea deve avere un rifermento. Quando più vasto e queste punto, più soo deliziosi i risultati.
No.10 If you agree about the system killing creativity, what would you suggest to be a simple solution?
While I am not familiar with the “current” system, I am quiet familiar with its results.
They are most disturbing.
An individual must be inspired to take the opportunity to rise above the basics, each step of the way, particularly in our affluent western society/first world.
What I note as a result of this deficiency, this general lack of excellence as a lifestyle component, is a homogenous complacency permeated by dull mediocrity.
My suggestion is to reconnect with constructive values that would nourih and support a ny human being to reach its full potential, focusing in what is simple and true which is, what is important and vital – the rest will come!
No.10) Si estás de acuerdo con que el sistema está matando la creatividad, que sugieres como una simple solución? 
No estoy muy familiarizada con el sistema actual, pero si con sus resultados. Son realmente perturbadores.
El individuo debe ser inspirado a tomar la oportnidad de elevarse por encima de lo básico, a lo largo de todo su camino, particularmente en nuestra sociedad occidental, afluente/del “primer mundo”.
Lo que noto como resultado de esa deficienia, es la general ausencia de exelencia como componente integral del estilo de vida contemporaneo, cual resulta en una complacencia homogenia permeada por una torpe mediocridad.
La sugerencia es, de reencontrar valores que construyan, que nutran y apoyen al crecimiento de un ser humano para lograr su pleno potencial, enfocando lo simple y verdadero que es lo importante y vital – el resto, llega solo!
No.10) Sei d’accordo che il sistema sta uccidendo la creatività, cosa suggerisci come soluzione semplice?
Non sono molto internalizata con il sistema attuale però coincido con i risultati, terribilmente estupefacenti.
L’individui devono essere spinti a cogliere l’occasione d’elevarsi sopra lo basico, nel suo lungo percorso, in speciale la società occidentale, affluente/dal primo mondo.
Posso inquadrare il risultato nella mancanza della eccellenza come parte esenziale nel estilo di vita contemporaneo, la contentezza omogenea piena di mediocrità.
Il suggerimento è il ritrovo dei valori, per construire la crescita dell’essere umano, potenziando lo semplice e veramente importante, tutt’altro arriva da sé.

Have enjoyed your articles the last two weeks. You honest and direct answers are much appreciated. I had to laugh when I saw myself in your reply to #6.

Applies also to poetry…the emotional “charge” can sometimes bring out the best in us even if it starts out as a negative.
